Abstract

The monograph by A.N. Inshakov, “Sergey Mikhailovich Romanovich: Art and Life” (BooksMArt, 2022), explores the artist’s work in the broad context of Russian visual arts in the 20th century. The author deeply investigates the evolution of Romanovich’s worldview, his stylistic and aesthetic preferences – from avant-garde to the ideas of “Makovets” and the fundamental world classical heritage.
