Abstract

Scientific Journal of Research & Reviews claims to be a peer reviewed scholarly journal. However, most articles list a turnaround time of about two weeks, and authors can pay a membership fee to “smooth” peer review. The journal also charges not only a fee to publish with them but a fee to withdraw articles after a certain point, which could create a costly headache for authors as well as limit their ability to submit their work elsewhere if they so desire. The journal has other conflicting practices (such as around copyright) and provides no information in other areas, such as formatting articles or how to file a complaint.
