Abstract

The Journal of Library Outreach and Engagement offers a venue for public, school and academic librarians to share peer-reviewed original research, features and content of note for those tasked with attracting and retaining patrons at libraries and other cultural heritage institutions. Although it is relatively new and has a somewhat irregular issue count, the journal features indications of commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and follows best practices for scholarly journal publication, including open access licensing and transparent policies for potential authors.
