Abstract
At present, the need of renewable energy power generation in China is increasing. But the accommodation of the renewable energy is restricted by the randomness and volatility of the renewable energy seriously. At the same time, renewable energy accommodation in a single region cannot effectively solve the problem of abandoning renewable energy. Considering the wind power and photovoltaic power's output characteristics, grid constraints and cross-regional power exchange, an optimal model for studying the annual renewable energy accommodation of cross-regional power grids is established based on the principle of time series simulation. And by using a weight-adaptive particle swarm optimization, penalty function and feasibility conditioning mechanism, the optimal model can give the maximum consumed renewable energy of each region electricity and cross-regional power transmission capacity. By analyzing the simulation results based on the actual data of cross-regional power grid in a province, we find cross-regional power exchange can more fully consume the renewable energy, which verifies the effectiveness and reliability of the method.
