Abstract

An approach to the construction of a hierarchic system of indicators and integral criterion for multicriteria evaluation of the quality and effectiveness of complex technical and other systems based on the weighted power mean (WPM), using decomposition as well as aggregation of indicators, is offered. The convolution function in the form of WPM provides a compromise scheme between indicators at all hierarchic levels based on establishing the limits of their mutual compensation im grossen at the expense of rational choice of the WPM parameters - the degree, accuracy and weighting coefficients, and, finally, WPM provides fuzzy maximin and fuzzy minimax preference framework.
