Abstract

From the results of mechanical and structural relaxation using relaxational spectrometry the author analyses 11 different relaxational transitions in 6-nylon. Characteristic of 6-nylon are the same groups of β, α and λ transitions as for PE as a result of the presence in both crystalline polymers of polymethylene chains. The specific relaxational transitions in 6-nylon μ and π are associated with the NH and C = O groups capable of forming hydrogen and polar local physical nodes. The results of mechanical land structural relaxation well agree.
