Abstract

This study aims to develop a population administration application in the Village or Nagari VII Koto Talago using the Waterfall Method. The system development model is implemented systematically and sequentially, focusing on the implementation process of the population administration application to enhance data management effectiveness and efficiency. Currently, population data information in the Village or Nagari VII Koto Talago is managed using Microsoft Office, and administration data is stored in ledger books, causing ineffectiveness and inefficiency. Information services to the public, especially when requesting population referral letters, still rely on paper media, which takes a long time. By applying the Waterfall Method, this research focuses on the implementation stage of the population administration application, aiming to replace the old system flow, maximize computer usage for population administration data input, and provide maximum information to the community. The study involves analyzing problems and solutions to evaluate constraints in the field and design a new, more effective system. The results are expected to significantly improve the quality of population administration services in the Village or Nagari VII Koto Talago.
