Abstract

In the conditions of active military confrontation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine against the actions of the Russian occupying forces, the problem of successful psychological adaptation of servicemen has gained importance and urgency. The success of the personnel's performance of combat tasks, as well as the overall results of opposing the enemy during the defense of the Motherland, will depend on the speed and efficiency of the adaptation process.The state of servicemen while waiting for the upcoming battle can be described as anxious anticipation. Most military personnel are prone to experience it, but anxiety manifests itself differently in different people, and depends on different conditions and factors.Adaptation possibilities of a serviceman depend on physical, mental, personal, activity (subject) factors. The need for each of them is recognized, where the influence of psychological factors gives scientists and military leadership the opportunity to determine the most effective strategies for organizing military service.The theoretical value of the research can be used in the preparation of methodological recommendations regarding the psychological factors of adaptation of military personnel.The article analyzes the conditions and features of adaptation of military personnel that affect the success of combat tasks, defines the essence and role of psychological training.The practical significance of the study lies in the need to use recommendations during the psychological preparation of the program of psychological adaptation of military personnel.Further research within this topic will be devoted to empirical studies of the ability of servicemen to adapt to combat conditions, and based on their results, to the development of recommendations on the psychological support of combat tasks by the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
