Abstract
Glioma is the most common malignant tumor of the nervous system. The discovery of IDH (isocitrate, dehydrogenase) gene mutation has pointed out a new direction for the study of glioma. IDH and the pathogenesis of glioma have been studied more and more, and the relationship between IDH and diagnosis, treatment, prognosis of glioma and other clinical problems have attracted more and more scholars’ attention. This article summarizes the relationship between IDH gene mutation and glioma and its application in clinical research of glioma, and provides a new target and research direction for drug therapy of glioma.
