Abstract

April 13–15, 1927. A magnetic storm of moderate intensity began at 23h 48m April 13, 1927, with a sudden commencement in all three elements. The horizontal intensity increased 54γ almost instantaneously, and the declination and vertical intensity were marked by smaller but conspicuous increases. After the sudden commencement there was a 5‐hour period of minor disturbance in all three elements.
