Abstract
Escherichia coli and bacteriophage fd DNA, labelled with 32P, were degraded with micrococcal nuclease. The resulting oligonucleotide mixture was fractionated by two-dimensional electrophoresis, and the primary structure of most of the oligonucleotides was determined according to the techniques described by Sanger and co-workers.
