Abstract
We were the first to run the preparative separation of compounds by gas-liquid chromatography in a stream of steam. The substantial advantages of the process in the separation of mixtures of polar compounds like amines, free aliphatic acids, aliphatic alcohols, and other compounds, were demonstrated.
