Abstract

AbstractThe preparation of ultra-fine grain photographic emulsion follows the Crawford method modified to achieve high quality by flowing. The sensitivity of these non-finished emulsions is considerably enhanced by immersion of the plates in a halogen acceptor solution. AgBr grains of the order of 0.02µm can be produced. High diffraction efficiencies are obtained in Lippmann photography using yellow or red light and also in holography.
