Abstract

Thanks for your academic support and participations in 2020 3rd International Conference on Applied Mathematics, Modeling and Simulation (AMMS2020), which is directing at presenting the most advanced research reports and fresh your exploring inspiration in related disciplines of Applied Mathematics, Modeling and Simulation. On the great previous success of AMMS and the co-sponsor of Advanced Science and Industry Research Center, Hong Kong, AMMS2020 will play significant part in promoting current research development and friendly and cooperative exchanges between relevant research fields.At this special time when the global pneumonia epidemic has not been alleviated, we, the organizing committee must resolutely curb the spread of epidemic and put all attendees’ safety and health first. AMMS2020 was held in held in the form of online meeting. Before the formal launch of this online meeting, we developed a detailed meeting procedure and tested the stability of online meeting system in advance. We believe that under the premise of such careful and proper preparation, this new conference mode will stimulate the enthusiasm of participants, and they will be able to participate more actively in academic exchanges and experience sharing.AMMS2020 was held via ZOOM cloud meeting platform. During the preparation and testing phase, we carefully checked the stability and good working state of video and audio. And then we invited Keynote Speakers and oral representatives to have a test in advance, mainly directing at the video, audio, screen sharing and other operations. AMMS2020 was be held at 9:00am on September 20, 2020. After opening ceremony, the Keynote Speaker, Prof. Seongah Chin from College of IT Engineering, Sungkyul University, Korea made his keynote speech in 45 minutes. The other authors made their 10-minute Oral Presentations and had further discussions in Q & A section.We use the iThenticate software to detect instances of overlapping and similar text in submitted manuscripts. We have also invited up to 100 senior reviewers with related expertise and research interests in Technical Program Committee to keep paper submissions quality. Each submission should be reviewed by at least two reviewers. And the revised papers should go through the second peer-reviewing if it is necessary. Thus these review comments on the papers should be helpful to assist the authors to improve the paper content, structure, and language.All paper submissions were assigned to 2-3 reviewers for further checking and reviewing in the view of originality, practicability, and technicality. Take main topics of all article submissions and the comments of reviewers, we selected and collects 55 papers for publication and divided into Part 1: Modeling, Simulation and Algorithm optimization and Part 2: Applied Mathematics and Data AnalysisAt last, on behalf of the organizing committee, we sincerely thanks for IOP Publishing for this efficient publication to AMMS2020 papers, all the reviewers for your time and effort in reviewing the quality of all articles, and active participation and ongoing support from all contributors and participants.
