Abstract

The background of this research is to find the problems solution of students in the subject of fashion technology of the material completion concave arm circumference, which references the concave arm circumference settlement material is still limited. The purpose of this study is to produce a medium of learning in the form of a valid teaching materials and practical. This research is a Research and Development (R & D). This research procedure using the 4D model which consists of four stage: stage of definition (define), stage of design (design), stage of development (develop) and stage dissemination (disseminate). However, due to the limitations of the researchers the deployment stage could not be implemente. The result obtained based on test validity and practicalities of the faculty adviser courses consist of small groups of test and test the practicalities of the practicalities of large groups. Validator consisting of media experts and validator validator matter experts, amounting to 4 people. Based on the validity of the test results of teaching materials obtained score 86.46% categorized as very valid. Furthermore, the practicalities of the test results obtained by a score of 89.15% with a very practical category.
