Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of leadership and work motivation on employee performance at PT Kreasinergi Idea Explora Bandung. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze how much influence leadership and work motivation have on employee performance at PT Kreasinergi Idea Explora Bandung. This study uses a quantitative method with an associative approach. Sampling was done by using probability sampling method of simple random sampling type with the number of respondents as many as 154 people. The data analysis technique used is the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of simultaneous hypothesis testing, leadership and work motivation have a significant effect on employee performance. This is evidenced by Fcount > Ftable (27.952 > 3.06) with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. Based on the results of the partial hypothesis test (t test) it was found that the variables of leadership and work motivation had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT Kreasinergi Idea Explora Bandung. This is evidenced by the value of tcount > ttable of leadership that is (3.330 > 1.976) with a significance level of 0.001 < 0.05. While the value of tcount > ttable of work motivation is (2,923 > 1,976) with a significance level of 0.004 < 0.05. Based on the coefficient of determination, it is found that leadership and work motivation affect 27% of employee performance at PT Kreasinergi Idea Explora Bandung and the remaining 73% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Thus the proposed hypothesis is accepted.
