Abstract

In recent years, the number of foreign students from Belt and Road countries has increased further. The cultural adaptation problems caused by living in a foreign culture will have an impact on their psychology. Therefore, for international students in China, cross-cultural adaptation is the first challenge they have to face after studying and living in China. This article takes the intercultural adaptation of Chinese international students as a starting point, analyzes the dilemmas and problems they face, and proposes strategies to improve the intercultural adaptation ability of international students from the perspective of strengthening cultural contacts, promoting exchanges between Chinese and international students, and also increasing psychological adaptability.
