Abstract
A simple theoretical approach is presented for the equilibrium and nonequilibrium components of the angular correlations between light particles and outgoing fragments in paripheral heavy-ion collisions. Semi-classical formulae for the in-plane differential multiplicities are given. In particular, the double forward-peaked shape in the nonequilibrium angular-correlation pattern is explained in terms of emission of fast light particles from a «l-window» and it is out-lined that different angular correlations are expected depending on the values of the quantal deflection angle involved in this process.
