Abstract

This study aimed to analyze and describe how some churches have made use of the social media Instagram to maintain and establish links, and maintain their main function, to bring the gospel message to all people. At first, the study describes how the media began within the Christian environment, moving on to the internet and social media, and some of its concepts and the most used ones in Brazil today. Showing soon after the importance of communication planning, especially within churches. And finally, 3 churches are analyzed to observe all these concepts exposed in the previous topics, and to understand if the churches have fulfilled their role of evangelizing and preaching the gospel even if online. And in this way, the conclusions indicate that the 3 churches analyzed are present in the social media of Instagram, maintaining efficient communication, communication planning, and the main thing, conserving communion and taking the gospel
