Abstract
The choice of the topic is due to the growing need for socio-psychological rehabilitation as an important element in the system of measures aimed at restoring the physical, psychological and social state of a person, and clear regulatory and legal regulation of the processes of socio-psychological rehabilitation has become the need of the hour. The purpose of the article is the analysis of domestic legal acts that regulate the process of social and psychological rehabilitation. It has been established that the regulatory and legal regulation of social and psychological rehabilitation is determined by a number of legislative acts that provide legal grounds for the provision of rehabilitation services. First of all, these are the Constitution of Ukraine, the Law of Ukraine «On the Basics of Social Protection of Persons with Disabilities in Ukraine», the Law of Ukraine «On Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities in Ukraine», the Law of Ukraine «On Social Services».Particular attention is paid to the rehabilitation of children with disabilities and the legislative basis – the Law of Ukraine «On the Protection of Childhood». Also, within the framework of rehabilitation work with children, the Resolution of the CMU «On approval of the Procedure for granting the status of a child who suffered as a result of hostilities and armed conflicts» was analyzed. It was established that state standards in the field of social and psychological rehabilitation play an important role in ensuring the quality of service provision. These standards create clear rules and requirements for organizations providing rehabilitation services. It was established that it would be expedient to work out the legislation in the field of rehabilitation of children in more detail, taking into account the specifics of their age. Also, taking into account the current demand for rehabilitation facilities, it would be worthwhile to take into account in more detail the provision of social services at the local level and interaction with non-governmental organizations based on the principle of «money follows people»
