Abstract
The broadening of 77Se NMR spectrum and the enhancement of the spin echo decay rate have been observed in (TMTSF)2ClO4, around 30K, slightly above the anion ordering temperature Tt = 24K. These are attributed to the slowing down of a certain kind of molecular motion which gives rise to the dynamical fluctuations of Knight shift. The continuous broad distribution of Knight shift at low temperature in the slowly cooled state is apparently inconsistent with the X-ray experiment which has shown the (0, 1/2, 0) superstructure with fairly large domain size.
