Abstract

At the start of a new year, many nonprofits take the opportunity to revisit policies and procedures they have in place, dust off strategic plans and even refresh some of the more critical documents that lie at the heart of their organizations. Chief among these are articles of incorporation and organizational bylaws, which include specific language that governs the group's operations.
