Abstract

For seasoned nonprofit leaders, boards and staff, the strategic planning process may be old hat. But for new executive directors and less experienced staff and board members, it can indeed be daunting. There are many questions that come up, like who should be involved? Who should take the lead? Is it best to leave it to a special board committee, or have the whole board involved? And, just how important is it? Can it be skipped?
