Abstract
Neste editorial, busca-se pontuar aspectos da conjuntura brasileira atual que vem condicionando o trabalho acadêmico, a política de ciência e tecnologia e o enfrentamento à pandemia do COVID-19. A partir desta análise conjuntural, busca-se situar a pertinência e relevância do trabalho de editoração científica como forma de enfrentamento dos obstáculos que a conjuntura impõe ao avanço do pensamento crítico e autônomo. É nesta perspectiva que o trabalho editorial da REVISTA TRABALHO, POLÍTICA E SOCIEDADE é apresentado, destacando-se os novos desafios que se semam aos mais antigos.
