Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of modernizing the current Kazakhstani public and individual consciousness. It is noted that in the process of gaining state independence by Kazakhstan, such negative elements of capitalism as property relations, individualism, consumer ideology, etc. penetrated into the country. For further development, Kazakhstan needs a serious modernization of all spheres of life, including especially public and individual consciousness. It is noted that not everything that is now modern in the West is suitable for it to be included in the modernized Kazakhstani consciousness. It is noted that, on the one hand, it is necessary to inherit everything that is deeply positive that has been accumulated in the minds of the peoples living on the territory of Kazakhstan (but not just copy, to accept schematism) and synthesize it with what is acceptable among the peoples of the planet.
