Abstract

Summary: The aim of this article is to propose a method for model-based systems engineering (MBSE) that supports a model-based safety assurance (MBSA) by developing architecture specifications of complex systems taking into account the property of their safety. Also, the authors give a review of the normative and methodical background of MBSA on an example of the automotive safety. The main standards used to control the safety lifecycle of automotive systems are listed.
