Abstract
authors describe a new system of models that they have developed to improve regional population projections in Norway. The DROM [Demographic Regional-Economic Model] system produces an alternative population projection where migration is influenced by regional labor market development....The labor market projection of DROM is designed to give regional breakdowns of the results of the national models. Some results of regression analysis of migration using DROM are also discussed. (EXCERPT)
