Abstract

We present the trajectory of the teacher and pedagogue from Navarre Micaela Diaz Rabaneda, for some people the continuation of Concepcion Arenal. This professor of the Normal School of Teachers of Madrid and parliamentary of the National Assembly of Primo de Rivera was one of the most notable representatives of the Catholic feminism of the first third of the xx century. She collaborated with prestigious personalities of her time, in various scientific committees and societies of various kinds such as Pediatrics, Spanish Hygiene or Central Patronage of Abnormal, with the aim of improving the situation of women, introducing changes in the education of the children and the sanitary conditions of the population. She also demonstrated her strong politic and religious convictions. To carry out this investigation several archivist, hemerographic and bibliographic sources have been consulted with the aim of contrasting this figure with feminists of other tendencies that had relationship with her.
