Abstract
Abstract Recently, the measurement of gamma-rays polarization has increasingly become important for applications in various fields such as astrophysics and bioimaging. Accordingly, there is a growing need for high-performance polarimeters to meet these requirements. In this study, we fabricated the gamma-rays polarization detector using Gd3(Ga,Al)5O12(Ce) scintillator, which has high energy resolution, high amount of luminescence, and fast decay time. This detector mainly consists of scatterer and absorber, each of which use pixelated GAGG array. By using this detector, the gamma-rays polarization was measured in MeV range (6.6 MeV), and the performance as polarimeter was assessed.
