Questioning the economic and legal future of cities in the post-covid era can be done through the prism of four milestone issues : population density, the reshaping of economic systems, the search for alternative economic models, and ecological and digital transitions. Against a backdrop of far-reaching territorial change, did the new city turn its back on the old one or is it part of a continuum ?
