Abstract

Establishing restrictions on land use as a mechanism for ensuring favourable conditions for the life of the population and sustainable development of territories is of great importance. In the study, an analysis of the legal regulations of setting restrictions on the use of land in Ukraine was carried out. In the study, an analysis of the diversity of the branches of legislation was carried out, the main ones regulating the formation and establishment of restrictions on the use of land were determined, and their structuring was carried out. In the process of research, methods of analysis and synthesis were used. The analysis of legally defined branches of legislation showed that the issue of the formation of restrictions is regulated by both general and related branches of legislation. The general ones include: Fundamentals of the constitutional system; Civil legislation. Related branches include: Industry; Construction, urban planning and architecture; Land legislation; Transport; Communication, information and informatization; Culture and art; Natural resources. Environment protection; State of emergency. Emergency situations and liquidation of the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster; Geodesy and cartography. Hydrometeorology; Defence; National security. The results of the research on related branches of legislation prompt a detailed analysis of the role of urban planning tasks, land management and cadastral activities in the formation of restrictions on land use.
