Abstract

Synopsis The author debates challenges linked to the Methodist confessional institutions educative approach. She takes into consideration the many complex ways of action related to new social demands, students in search of unconventional learning methods and the effects of competitive environment on institutions. The present text was presented during the IV Pedagogical Congress of the Latin American Association of Methodist Institutions of Education - ALAIME - held in Panama City on August 2006.
