Abstract

Campus Merdeka is one of the policies of the government of the Republic of Indonesia in managing universities as an effort to face the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0. The purpose of this study was to determine the advantages and disadvantages of the Merdeka Campus policy. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. The results show that on the one hand the Merdeka Campus policy is a good innovative step from the government in managing education in Indonesia, but on the other hand its implementation has been hindered by the covid-19 pandemic.
