Abstract

Abstract JESSOP JS Alloy B-2 is a nickel-molybdenum alloy with outstanding corrosion resistance in the as-welded condition. It can be used up to 1000 F and, with proper atmospheric protection, above 1500 F. In the range 1000-1500 F the alloy exhibits reduced ductility and use in that temperature range is to be avoided. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as heat treating and machining. Filing Code: Ni-363. Producer or source: Jessop Steel Company.
