Abstract
Abstract CARPENTER STAINLESS No. 20 and No. 20-Cb are wrought low carbon austenitic alloy steels of high nickel and chromium content. They are highly resistant to hot and cold strong acids. No. 20-Cb contains columbium for carbide stabilization and retention of its corrosion resistance in the as-welded condition. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and tensile properties as well as creep. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-63. Producer or source: Carpenter.
