Abstract

Two forms of DNA-dependent RNA polymerase have been solubilized and purified from lymphocytes of patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia. The properties of these two forms of RNA polymerase, such as metal ion dependence, ionic strength dependence, and α-amanitin sensitivity, resemble those reported for other mammalian RNA polymerases.
