Abstract
AbstractThe effects of organic anti-foggants on the development process were investigated using silver halide sols. by measuring their rate of reduction by developers in [he presence of a ronge of concentrations of vorious anti-foggants. The anti-foggant activity was shown to be closely related to the free silver ion concentration near the crystal surface. and it is shown thot solution of the silver compound is a necessary stage in the development process for both fog and image development.
