Abstract

The article presents the experience of the Altai State Pedagogical University in organizing and conducting internships for magistrates studying in the direction of “Pedagogical education: Russian philology with the study of the language and literature of the host country”. Language and culture competence in the development of the competency model of an international teacher is identified as one of the key competences; its development takes place both during the period of theoretical preparation, educational practice preceding the internship, and during the internship in the Republic of Tajikistan, during Russian language and literature lessons and extracurricular activities.
