Abstract
The article is devoted to the current problem of labor education, career guidance, choice of profession by students, the role it plays in the development of personality and further influence on a human’s life. The forms of work, a system of exercises and tasks about work and professions in the lessons of the Russian language, literature and extracurricular activities are presented, the implementation of which will contribute to the formation of knowledge about different pro- fessions and will help students in choosing their work path. The novelty of the article lies in the fact that these types of work will be useful for the teacher both when drawing up an educational work plan and a lesson plan in a certain system.
