Abstract

Modern vocational education should prepare specialists who are competitive in the labor market. This implies that they have experience of independent work which will allow them to change the path of their professional develop- ment. The authors consider the model of organizing independent work of students in the conditions of an electronic educational environment as a tool for improving the quality of their professional training. The target, content, pro- cedural-activity and reflexive components of the organization of independent work of students are described within this model; the principles reflecting the specific nature of the work being organized are revealed.
