Abstract
In the solution of the volume-surface integral equation (VSIE) by the method of moments (MoM), the continuity condition (CC) of electric flux is improved and enforced on the perfect electric conductor (PEC)-dielectric interfaces to reduce the volumetric unknowns. For the open PEC structures embedded within dielectric substrates, the proposed CC scheme can reduce the volumetric unknowns in a simple way. Efficiency and validity of the proposed CC-based VSIE are verified by reliable numerical experiments involving anisotropic materials.
