Abstract

This research aims to use AHP model to evaluate variables of PAT managing manufacturing organizations. Using AHP approach, an evaluation model can be constructed, capable to measure the weight and ranking of variables. Literature helps to identify twenty six variables of PAT. These variables are arranged on the basis of expert’s opinion and construct a conceptual domain in which variable are divided as five major and twenty one sub variables. This domain is used to draw hierarchy framework of AHP model. Thereafter, pair wise comparison is performed on the expert’s responses to measure weight of PAT variables, the responses and matrices, validated by computing consistency ratio. Finally, weight and ranking of entire variables are evaluated in AHP methodology section and concluded in last section which gives interesting suggestions to the manufacturing organizations so as to manage their manufacturing system.
