Abstract

The purpose of the study is to reveal the primary origins of the populist and liberal review of Russian patriotism in the educational process of students. The article discusses how, based on archival reprint sources, one's own professional experience, it is possible to apply methodological techniques and experiments in pedagogical practice. The scientific novelty lies in the fact that an adapted methodology is proposed for the implementation of the process of patriotic education among multi-ethnic students. As a result, the diagnostics and levels of patriotic education of students in a multi-ethnic and confessional environment are revealed with the help of a historical and philosophical approach, understanding the significance of Russian patriotism on examples from history and philosophy, emphasis is placed on the use of professional competencies in the process of teaching philosophy and history in higher school.
