Abstract
The problem of the study.Currently, the Russian system of higher education is aimed not only at the transfer of subject knowledge and skills to students, but also at the formation of their complex of general cultural and professional competencies. The task of developing general cultural competence, formulated as “the ability of students to use the foundations of philosophical knowledge to form a philosophical position”, is set before the universities by the Federal state educational standards of higher education. They require a complex of both theoretical and practical scientific research. The purpose of the study is to suggest the author’s model of didactic system for developing the worldview of students in the educational process at the University. The methodology of the research is based on the guiding documents defining the activity of educators in the field of higher education, as well as the work of Russian and foreign scholars, in which the experience of creating various scientifically based didactic systems as integral structures and the experience of their implementation in the educational process are presented. Results. The model of the didactic system of the developing the worldview of students in the university educational process has been developed. There were discovered some contradictions which induced the author to develop this didactic system. Conclusions. In the presented model the didactic system of developing the worldview of students in educational process was worked out. There were found the interrelated target, content, procedure and result-evaluating compounds. The principles of religious studies were formulated in order to develop religious views of students. It was pointed out that the formation of religious views should be preceded by scientific study of the religious phenomenon.
