Abstract

The article analyzes the particularities of the leaflet as a historical source with the base on the French documents of 1960s. Student trade unions and political organisations which took part in the May-June 1968 protest democratic movement in France produced a significant amount of different leaflets that allow to discover characteristic points of this type of documents: presentation of a single idea, engaging the reader into the action and use of the lexical and grammar instruments in the consequence of the chosen theses. The particularities of the leaflets are showed in the article in the context of the opinion of their authors towards their opponent, president and conservative forces leader Charles de Gaulle, because so, in the framework of the epoch political history, the perspectives of the source study work with the documents of this type are open in the widest way.
