Abstract
In the past, the model for mobility fluctuation 1 f current noise in bipolar junction transistors (BJTs) has been developed based on uniform doping profiles. In advanced BJTs, either heavily doped or with polyemitter, the doping profiles and nonuniform. This paper presents analytical expressions for mobility fluctuation 1 f current noise in modern BJTs considering the effect of nonuniform doping profiles.
