Abstract

The formation constants of tetrazido cuprate(II) and triazido cuprate(I) anions determined by polarographic and potentiometric measurements were found to be respectively 5·8. 10 7 M −3 and 6·5 . 10 7 M −4, at 25·0°C in sodium azide solution of ionic strength 4·0 M. Formal potentials of various copper systems and the disproportionating constant of cuprous ions were determined.
