Abstract
AbstractThe force field study of some hexahalide ions (Mm6−n) is attempted by the method of Redington and Aljibury. The angle parameter has been fixed for all the ions to obtain the symmetrised force constants. Mean amplitudes of vibration and Coriolis coupling constants have also been evaluated. The results are discussed in detail.
