Abstract
AbstractRedington and Aljibury's parametric method has been applied to study the force fields of some XY3 planar molecules and ions. Interatomic force constants and interaction force constants were calculated. Other molecular constants like coriolis coupling constants, mean amplitudes of vibration and centrifugal distortion constants were calculated and found to agree with the available literature values.
