Abstract
This article is dedicated to the motivations of the Titan Prometheus in helping people and his attitude towards the earthlings. Attempts were also made to capture the essence of humanity presented by Aeschylos, Adolf Dygasiński, Jerzy Andrzejewski, Władysław Kozicki, Zbigniew Herbert and Andrzej Niemojewski, the writings of authors who divide thousands of years. Presenting the conclusions, theoretical assumptions of comparative mythography, comparative studies or research on the sacred (ecumenical method) were used.
